New catalogue design and print
We’ve worked with Typhoon International since we opened our doors. Despite being at the other end of the country we have a great working relationship and we get to work on all sorts of cool projects for our monkey hanging friends in the north.
2012 was the first time we’d actually got our freshly washed mitts on their catalogue design. For years it had been patched together from previous episodes and we were stoked to be given just enough budget to go back to square one and give the whole thing a ground up redesign.
Inside we gave the catalogue a super clean templated design which not only makes life easier for the reader but also makes life easier for the sales team. Outside we opted for a powerful image that really stirred some of the emotion that fans of sailing, surfing or diving can all relate to.
To keep costs down and quality up the client let Shred handle the print, we opted for a 170gsm silk stock right through, light enough to keep postage costs down but decent enough to last twelve months under a shop counter.
