Ride 55 Plymouth is owned by our old friend, and local surf shop legend, Fordy. Back in the day before Shred existed our MD did a stint working for Fordy and got quite a grasp of the surf industry. Unfortunately a lot of this grasp involved bikini clad ladies, way too much Skinner’s Ale and pretending to work when really it was surfing until the sun went down and being back on the beach to watch it come up again.

When Fordy came to us with the concept for a new store that was part moto-x, part surf, part skate we were all over it. We almost had the logo concept nailed before he’d even left the building. Ride 55 is now open, our branding has already been fitted to the front of the store and we have t-shirts, vans, carrier bags and other design projects on the studio workflow already.
