Shred helps create Grit phenomenon.
Grit Scooters landed in the UK just before Christmas 2011. They were an overnight sensation, the team at Greenover rapidly expanded to meet demand for these high end trick scooters and Shred was called in to act as marketing lead, support and stand-in. It’s not often we work with a brand that has seen such meteoric rise, their facebook page seemed to have an extra thousand followers almost every day and with audience came sales.
Over the past year we’ve worked on so many projects for Grit it’s hard to pin down a favourite, from the ‘contamination zone’ themed adverts and expo stands through to the more recent cleaned up versions the Grit brand is still growing strong and helping to make a new sport for kids aged between 8 and mid teens. This is not only great from a commercial point of view for us, but also fantastic for parents worldwide as it gets them out of the house.
