With the Code project we really wanted to create something a little more than just some helmets with nice graphics on them. Our intial task was simply to design eight helmets and a logo for the brand. The name Code was already on the table so we extended the theme to create an entire coded language to work with the products, helmet boxes that look like safes and strong black and yellow colour ways give the products presence in-store.

As with many projects of this nature Shred not only had to deal with the client but also work through the designs and specification with factories in China, not the easiest of tasks and certainly one that requires good, clear instructions with every product.
